ENERGY WORK & MASSAGE
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive.
If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."
A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing.
Many have reported miraculous results. Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery. --- International Center for Training Reiki
Integrated Energy Therapy® (IET) is an energy healing modality developed by Stevan Thayer, founding director of the Center of Being, Inc. IET is a mind-body-spirit practice that combines energy channeling and specific pressure points where emotions and beliefs are stored.
IET involves a light, therapeutic touch applied to specific parts of the body known as cellular memory areas. It is recognized to release at the DNA level the energetic correlates of emotional or physical distress. Relief is obtained without having to relive the circumstances that created the condition.
IET supports you in safely and gently releasing limiting energy patterns of your past, empowering and balancing your life in the present, and helping you to reach for the stars as you evolve into your future. We chose the term “Integrated” in our name to convey our vision of “integrating the experiences of the past, into the power of the present, to bring about the joy of the future”. The IET Mission is to “Heal the world one-heart-at-a-time.”
Although IET and Reiki are both considered to be alternative therapies, they are actually quite different. IET is a form of energy therapy that uses a light touch to help release emotions that are trapped in the body, while Reiki is a form of energy therapy that uses a hands-on approach to help promote healing.

Aromatherapy is the practice of using essential oils for therapeutic benefit. Aromatherapy has been used for centuries. When inhaled, the scent molecules in essential oils travel from the olfactory nerves directly to the brain and especially impact the amygdala, the emotional center of the brain.
It is used as a complementary therapy or as a form of alternative medicine, and typically is used via inhalation. Depending on the oil used, they can create different effects and address specific ailments.
Aromatherapy Massage is a massage where these oils are incorporated. In addition to inhalation, the oils are used by incorporating them into a carrier oil and placed upon pressure points as well as along the client's spine. Depending on the oil used, they can create different effects and address specific ailments.
Examples include (but are not limited to):
Lavender for enhanced relaxation and inner peace
Eucalyptus for sore muscles and to help clear sinuses
Sweet Orange for energy and uplifted mood
Peppermint for headaches and migraines
Hot stone massage is a massage method that uses hot stones to help relax and soothe muscles. Heating up the tissues can help achieve greater results in a session as the stones help to "melt" the muscles (much like the relief we feel getting in a hot bath or using a heating pad).
Similar to many enhancements added to a session, hot stones can be especially helpful to ease someone into a session. Sometimes a little added feature helps the nervous system "let go" of its bracing mode we often live in and can help quiet an over-active mind.
CBD Massage is what it sounds like. It offers all the same benefits of a massage but while using the enhancement achieved when using a CBD Oil.
CBD is a cannabinoid, one of the compounds found in Marijuana. However, CBD doesn't contain tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the psychoactive ingredient found in marijuana that produces a high. Due to this, it is not considered a controlled substance and is federally legal.
Research shows that CBD might have a number of benefits, such as easing pain and stress, reducing inflammation, improving skin conditions, improving sleep, lessening headaches and migraines, as well as help someone ease deeper into their massage session to achieve the best possible benefit.
